Students from Russia, Ukraine, Kazkahstan:
At Warwick, postgraduate courses require a UK degree score of ‘Second class or higher’, however some courses (typically in the Sciences) require a ‘Lower Second (2.2) or higher’ while other courses (typically in the Arts & Social Sciences) require an ‘Upper Second (2.1) or higher’.
Students from Russia, Ukraine, Kazkahstan: a score of 4.3-4.69 from a well ranked institution is considered comparable to a UK 2.1, while a score of 3.9-4.29 is considered comparable to a UK 2.2.
All applications are made via UCAS. Warwick strongly advises candidates to submit their applications as early as possible, and before 15 January. The University is committed to considering all applications as quickly as possible, but in the interests of fairness some decisions may be delayed until the University has received all applications that are submitted by 15 January. We will give careful consideration to applications received after this date where possible, however extremely competitive courses will not be able to consider new applications at this stage.
Applications must be submitted online via the University’s website. Places on taught postgraduate taught courses are limited, so you should submit your application as early as possible. If you are an international applicant and need to obtain a student visa, you will need to leave plenty of time for this process. For this reason, international applicants must submit their application by 31 July for courses that begin in September. If you are a UK or EU applicant, there are no deadlines for applications to postgraduate taught places. Please note that some departments will have earlier deadlines; you should check the information in the Application Fact File on each individual postgraduate taught course webpage or send you request to the University.
