The University welcomes applications from students educated in other European countries and elsewhere in the world. We are happy to make offers of admission based on the International or European Baccalaureate, or on other qualifications considered equivalent to our general entrance requirements.
It is expected from you to be able to understand and express yourself in both written and spoken English. If English is not your first language, you need to meet our English language requirements and your English language ability may be assessed at the start of the academic year in October. International students are expected to have 6.0 for IELTS.
If you are applying from outside the European Union for October entry, you should aim to send your application to UCAS no later than 30 June.
If you are an EU or international student, it may be possible to apply through your school or college but this is not common practice. You can apply online through UCAS Apply, as an independent applicant. Undergraduate applications should be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You make your application online, via the UCAS Apply service. UCAS charge a small fee for processing your application and full details on this process can be obtained from the UCAS website in the Applying Online Guide.
