The BA (Hons) International Events Management will equip you with the essential business knowledge and practical skills for a successful career in the industry.
It covers all stages of the events management process, from conceptualising and planning projects, through venue selection, budgeting and marketing, to design, staging and operations management.
The programme has four themes:
You will learn to produce creative solutions under pressure and work with different specialists in planning and delivering events of different sizes and complexity.
The international theme is underpinned by the optional study of a language and a study period abroad in Terms 4 and 5.
You will also complete 30 weeks of industry work experience.
International events management is a fast-growing sector of the global marketing industry and managers must be skilled in handling people, projects and budgets, often across international boundaries.
This programme will equip you with the essential business and skills you need for success, gained through active involvement in live projects in London, the UK and internationally.
