LU, BA, Global and Comparative Perspectives in Philosophy
Entry requirements
The requirements for the bachelor’s programme in ‘Philosophy: Global and Comparative Perspectives’ are an international equivalent of a Dutch pre-university education (VWO) diploma, plus proficiency in English.
A final bachelor’s or master’s diploma from a university outside the Netherlands;
A pre-university education diploma obtained outside the Netherlands which is considered comparable to a VWO diploma, an International Baccalaureate (IB), or a European Baccalaureate (EB). Russian Federation:
- Attectat o Srednem (polnom) Obshchem Obrazovanii with a score of 5 in all subjects.
If you obtained your diploma in previous years you are requested to submit your Certificate of Unified State Examination results too. Leiden University accepts the following three official tests and minimum scores:
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic modules only. Minimum score of 6.5.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Minimum score is 90 (internet based). Original test results should be sent directly by the Educational Testing Service. Institutional TOEFL tests are not accepted;
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English/ Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (grade A-C)
