Entry requirements

A Level AAA-ABB including Creative Writing, English Literature, English Language or English Language and Literature plus a portfolio of Art work International Baccalaureate 36-32 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects including Higher Level English Literature or Language study BTEC Distinction, Distinction, Distinction to Distinction, Distinction, Merit plus Advanced/Higher Level English Language or Literature study (B). Essential Subjects: Advanced/Higher level Literature study is required for entry. Evidence of engagement in Creative Writing is essential on application. The following subjects are considered desirable by the department: Art and Design. IELTS 6.5 (with at least 5.5 in each component). Russian applicants: The Attestat is not sufficient for entry; applicants must complete an additional qualification such as a Foundation Year.
