Core courses: give the skills and understanding required to develop students' writing and produce a 'treatment' for a feature film/television or radio script which will become the basis for a final script at the end of the course; develop students' editorial and analytical skills in script editing; encourage students to consider how their practical work should be positioned in theoretical cultural and industrial contexts; develop students creative and analytical script writing skills culminating in a final draft of their short fiction script; plus 2 option courses.
