The core curriculum is grounded in theatre design and technology with supplemental studies from arts and technology courses across the campus. Students will build strong portfolios by engaging in hands-on work and collaborating with faculty and other students.
Opportunities
Entertainment Design and Technology students will participate in CMTA’s active co-curricular production program while also engaging in diverse training opportunities (such as runway shows, dance concerts, event design, etc) outside of our department. Students are invited to attend the annual United States Institute for Theatre Technology conference, where they can participate in workshops, talk to graduate school representatives, network, and see the newest technological innovations in the field. They will be prepared for professional work, teaching, or continuing their studies at the graduate level in a number of fields.
