The statutory tuition fee for study at a Dutch university in 2014 is about €2,000. The statutory tuition fee is payable by citizens of the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland or Surinam.
Students who have a partner enrolled in a PhD program at Wageningen may also pay the statutory fee. Students who do not meet any of the conditions for paying the statutory fee pay an institutional fee of up to €13,500.
Wageningen University is in Wageningen, a historic town in the centre of the Netherlands. Several bus companies serve the area and the local train station is 8 km north of the town.Most international students arrive via Schiphol airport wherefrom there is a train link to Ede-Wageningen station. The university is then reachable by bus or taxi.
