Horology is the study and production of timekeeping devices, both mechanical and electronic; the course aims to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills appropriate for watch and clock making, the servicing of mechanical and electronic watches, clocks and chronometers, and the restoration of antique clocks and watches; both levels include broader studies in horological history and design, information technology, metallurgy and business studies.
