Undergraduate

General requirements

• Attestat o Srednem Obshchem Obrazovanii, with excellent results (or equivalent)
• Prerequisite courses should be presented in the final year.

English language requirements

• If you have less than four years in a country where the dominant language is English, you must present proof of English facility.
• Normally, a senior level English course (equivalent to Ontario ENG4U/EAE4U) is required for admission to all undergraduate programs.

Every Faculty student is a member of one of seven colleges. You must indicate your college preferences when you apply. Selecting a college is a personal decision unrelated to program choice. Each college has specific entry requirements.

Postgraduate

General requirements

• Admission consideration is based on your postsecondary studies and your most recent annual average, although we will review your entire academic record. 

• Program area prerequisites must be met at, or beyond the minimum level required for admission from your educational system.

All prospective students apply to University of Toronto through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). The application process begins in the fall. A non-refundable University of Toronto supplementary fee of $90 will be required. As details regarding admission requirements vary by faculty and program, each faculty/college provides specific information on their web-pages.

Once we receive your application you will be sent an email acknowledgement including your University of Toronto applicant number, and full information about the next steps in the application process.

You are encouraged you to apply well in advance of posted deadlines, as the application process is extremely competitive.
