We’re located just minutes from the cosmopolitan Manchester city centre and part of one of Europe’s largest student populations – and all the nightlife and culture that comes with it. You can catch up with friends at the stylish and relaxing Bar Yours, run by the Students’ Union and based on campus. Sports fans will love the sports bar which features three pool tables, plasma screen TVs showing Sky Sports and a large projection screen for sports matches. The bar also hosts regular comedy nights, quizzes and other social events for you to take part in.
Manchester has an internationally renowned music scene and some of the best bars and clubs in the country. There are venues to suit all tastes, styles and trends – and it's all happening 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We’re also the closest university to Manchester United Football Club and Old Trafford cricket ground so you won’t have far to go to catch a good match.

If you want to represent your student body and become part of leading the student voice, you could become a Students’ Union Sabbatical Officer, Student Rep, Student Council member. You could also get involved in representing the University in the local community and nationally by becoming a Student Ambassador or Host or supporting your peers by becoming a student mentor.
