Entry requirements

Students will need to meet the following requirements to be eligible for consideration to HKU:

  • University entrance requirement (completion of a university-preparatory programme such as the IB Diploma or the GCE A level exams).
  • Additional programme requirements – to have completed designated courses depending on the field of studies chosen by candidates.
  • English language requirement.
  • Second language requirement.
