Applications for International Foundation Year should be by downloading and filling in a paper applications from the Bath Foundation Year website. For deadline on applications please contact University of Bath.
Applications for undergraduate programme are accepted through the UK's central universities application organization, UCAS. The application process usually starts the September prior to the year of entry with a deadline of January 15. Applications after the deadline could be considered if there are still spaces available.
Postgraduate applications are taken online at the University’s programme website. The deadline for complete applications for programmes is typically June 30 of the year the programme is scheduled to start. However, please check individual programmes deadline. It is strongly advised to apply as early as possible.
To apply for Research programmes students are advised to contact the department directly. Applications for research degrees may be invited at any time during the year. Students should contact their respective departments for more information.
Bath is located in the south-west of England, one and a half hours from London by train. It is an interesting, elegant and vibrant city and one of only three in the world to be on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. With a population of only around 90,000, Bath is friendly and compact.

There are numerous restaurants, cafés and pubs and a great range of shopping with high street stores, small specialist shops and a flea market. The city offers many enjoyable outdoor activities. One can take a boat trip on the River Avon, relax in one of the delightful parks or make use of the superb sports facilities. Bath is surrounded by magnificent countryside and interesting places. Stonehenge, Salisbury, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Oxford and Bristol are all within easy reach of Bath.
The university is located about a mile from Bath. Frequent bus services link the campus, city and major student residential areas, so students are always connected to work, home and social life when studying.
