Sheffield Hallam is a multicultural institution with a vibrant and diverse student population of over 4,000 international students from more than 100 countries. The University has a lot to offer international students – from award winning international student support to courses which are tailored specifically to enhancing students' employability in a global workplace.

In the International Student Barometer (autumn 2015), Sheffield Hallam came first out of 49 UK universities for satisfaction with the quality of our teaching spaces, libraries, learning technology and the design and quality of our campus buildings.

• We offer high-ranking courses with seven subject areas in the top 20 in the UK (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016).
• The support offered by our dedicated International Experience Team is number one in the UK (for student satisfaction out of the 19 universities which participated in the Student Barometer, autumn 2015).
• We are proud that 93% of our graduates are in work or further study within six months (DLHE 2013/14).
• Sheffield Hallam research programme was ranked in the top five of all UK modern universities in the most recent national Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014.
