Entry requirements vary by course. Please see the exact requirements at the page of courses, or request information via an inquiry form on the right.
The process differs if you are applying for a Postgraduate or an Undergraduate course. We have a team of advisors who are happy to help you with the application process by email, or you can also visit one of our representatives in your country for further assistance with how to apply to Robert Gordon University.
For all undergraduate applications to a UK university, it is necessary to submit your application through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). Applications should reach UCAS between 1 September and 15 January (to begin your course the following September). The University will, however, still be happy to consider all applications received at UCAS before 30th June, providing there are spaces left on your course of choice.
You can apply directly to Robert Gordon University either online via University’s website or by downloading an application form and sending it to the University. Whilst the University does not have applications deadlines for our courses, we ask our International Students to consider the time that it will take to make their visa arrangements before submitting their application to us. UK Borders Agency advises you allow 4-8 weeks to receive your visa and to bear in mind this can be affected by demand at peak times ie August/September and December/January.
Robert Gordon University is located in the historic city of Aberdeen, on Scotland's north-east coast. Aberdeen is Scotland’s third largest city, with a multicultural population of 225,000, including 25,000 students. It is known as 'the oil capital of Europe', and as such has a thriving economy, and is rich in culture and things to do.
The City is just over two hours from Edinburgh and Glasgow by rail and just over an hour by air from Amsterdam, London and Paris.
