Tuition fees at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) for 2024 - 2025
Like other state universities in Russia, the MSU offers both paid and free tuition, equally available to Russian and foreign citizens. All applicants take the admission exams under the same conditions. Applicants who do not score sufficiently for a budgetary seat are assigned a new passing grade for admission to the paid section. The MSU has recently introduced uniform tuition prices. The cost of a full-time Bachelor's, specialty, or Master's course at any department in 2013 was 320,000 rubles per year. The cost of part-time education, both on-site and off-site, is 50% lower. To pay for their education, students may take out a loan from one of the many banks that have tuition loan programs in place. The MSU also has an agreement with the Sberbank of Russia to provide low-interest tuition loans to students.
