Istituto Marangoni - France

Istituto Marangoni is the international fashion school par excellence, with five campuses in the most prestigious venues of international fashion. In Milan, the capital of Made in Italy, in Paris, the home of haute couture, in London, where trends are born and Shanghai, where fashion is the future, Istituto Marangoni is able to offer different visions of the contemporary fashion system to its students. The 4 sites of Istituto Marangoni are truly one of the most international student contexts in the world, with more than 2,500 students from 92 countries, each with infinite interests, styles, and knowledge. Attending this school is equivalent to a life experience while being immersed in the passion for fashion, learning and being enriched by coming into contact with the most varied and interesting cultural realities. There are about 2,200 students of 70 nationalities in the five campuses (London, Paris, Shanghai and two campuses in Milan).

The school was founded in Milan in 1935 by the tailor Giulio Marangoni,who was already famous among italian aristocracy of the time. The institution became a Scuola Professionale Artistica or "professional art school" in 1942. A London campus opened in Fashion Street, Shoreditch, in 2003. A Paris campus on avenue Raymond Poincare opened in October 2006, and a Shanghai campus in 2012.

The centre of design

The new school of design is located in via Cerva, in the heart of the city, in one of the areas full of the most important national and international design brands.This space is completely new and will be dedicated to fostering environments that are the most strategic to the subject: from internal and industrial design studios to visual design.Here students will find the stimuli and skills to grow and become designers of excellence, who are capable of operating in a vast array of professional environments.
