Bachelor

7 English-taught Bachelors courses at HAN University of Applied Sciences are 4-year, full-time courses.

In the field of Science and Engineering HAN offers bachelor’s courses of Automotive Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Life Sciences. In the field of Business and Management: Communication, Finance and Control, International Business and Management Studies, Logistics Management (Economics).

Admission criteria:

  • Certificate of secondary education that is at a comparable level to Dutch secondary education: e.g. General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE-A level), High school with A or B grades.
  • Proof of English language proficiency: e.g. TOEFL iBT score of 79 or higher, IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).
  • Sufficient grades in certain subjects. To see the exact subject required please check the Entry requirements tab of your course of interest.
  • Non-European students have to apply and submit the requested documents before 1 June 2017.

Master

HAN offers the following 3 English-taught Masters courses: Automotive Systems, Control Systems Engineering, Molecular Life Sciences.

Admission criteria:

  • Relevant Bachelors degree.
  • Proof of English language proficiency: e.g. TOEFL iBT score of 79 or higher, IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE).

Location

HAN University of Applied Sciences has two campuses, located in Arnhem and Nijmegen.

Nijmegen is situated on the banks of the river Waal, in the east of The Netherlands, near to the German border, and is the oldest city in Holland - recently celebrating its 2,000th anniversary.

Arnhem, the capital of the province of Gelderland, is only 15km from Nijmegen and lies partially in the hills at the edge of National Park De Veluwe, a striking area of woods and heath. Arnhem is a ‘green’ city, where people take pleasure in living, working and recreation.
