Bristol, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) is a modern, growing university in the thriving harbourside city of Bristol. UWE Bristol is one of Britain's most popular universities. It has around 30,000 students and 3,500 staff which makes it the largest provider of Higher Education in the South West of England.

UWE Bristol is a multi-site university. It has four campuses in and around Bristol encompassing seventeen departments covering a wide range of disciplines and expertise. In addition, we also have an associate faculty, Hartpury College and a regional education centre, both in Gloucester.
The University is continually developing, with £300m being invested in new facilities, which has so far included a Student Village and Centre for Sport on Frenchay Campus and the purchase of land for development on the neighbouring Hewlett Packard site to create a true 21st Century campus.
The city of Bristol is centrally located in the South West of England with good road and rail links to other parts of the UK and an International Airport on the outskirts of Bristol with regular routes to most major European destinations. Bristol is located just 90 minutes from London and just 15 minutes from the neighbouring city of Bath – a world heritage site.
