The study programmes taught in the Czech language are free of charge.
The University charges an annual tuition fee for programmes taught in English. The tuition fee is 4,000 EURO per academic year, which covers the cost of tuition, examinations, consultations and access to the library. The fee is to be paid before enrolment, at the beginning of the academic year.
Foreign students are invited to apply for funding within the Interstud Scholarship Support Project.
Plzeň, also called Pilsen in English and German, is a city in western Bohemia in the heart of Europe. It is about 90 kilometres west to Prague and is the fourth most populous city in the Czech Republic.
Plzeň was a European Capital Of Culture in 2015, along with Mons, Belgium. It is also known worldwide for Pilsner beer created by Bavarian brewer Josef Groll there in 1842.
