A knowledge of geography is central to understanding some of the most important contemporary problems – from resource scarcity and natural hazards, to ecology management and climate change.

Our degree gives you the skills and knowledge to understand and investigate these problems, with the flexibility to specialise in specific areas. The course introduces you to fundamental geographical skills and concepts, and then provides a varied range of options to apply these skills to study, for example, geomorphology, tectonics, ecology, atmosphere, climate, hydrology, and their interactions with society.

The additional teaching experience you will receive on this integrated syllabus will also put you in a great position to progress onto the UEA PGCE (Initial Teacher Training) course when you graduate, without any obligation to continue your studies.
