Year 1: Students begin with collaborative studio projects, enabling them to engage with the socialising contexts of art; a series of intensive practical workshops follows, creatively exploring the principles of: drawing; painting; printmaking; sculpture; installation; new media applications. Year 2: students begin a personal programme of guided studio practice, which they can decide to situate in 1 or more of the fine art disciplines; students hold a public exhibition and choose a venue for their vocational placement, which can be in the United Kingdom or abroad.
