Entry requirements
A good university degree in English Language or Literature or a related subject taught in English; English level should be equivalent to IELTS 6.5 ( TOEFL 580 (paper) or 233 (computer) + TWE 5.0); teacher training is not essential but preferred and tutoring experience is helpful; students with a lower English score than normal may be accepted, conditional on satisfactorily completing the Pre-TESOL (preparatory) courses.
