Year 1: Students study: mathematics; engineering science; electrical and electronic principles; digital and analogue devices and circuits; microprocessors; electronic applications and business management techniques. Year 2: all students study: operational amplifiers; combinational and sequential logic; data communications and networks; engineering design; project; to support the electrical/electronic theme students also study control systems and automation, and programmable logic controllers; students have the option of doing either power electronics or robot technology.
