Students take 2 compulsory modules (40 credits) in: Theoretical foundations of digital media; and basic techniques of interactive media; remaining 140 credits are then divided between the final project (90-120 credits) and optional modules (minimum of 20 credits); optional modules are chosen from a list of modules (20-credit unless otherwise stated) that can include: creative web and interactive narrative; mobility, sustainability, media environments; emergent digital design methods; advanced visualisation techniques; research training; self-reflexive documentary film; understanding user experience (10 credits); the body, identity and technology in cyberspace (10 credits); live electronic performance (30 credits).
