Places on the programme are only available for individuals who meet the following criteria: -
EU / EEA / Swiss national who has been ordinarily resident in the EU / EEA / Switzerland for the 3 years preceding the date of programme commencement
OR
Has Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK and has been ordinarily resident in the UK for the 3 years preceding the date of programme commencement
Candidates who have been successful during the selection process but who do not meet the above criteria cannot be offered employment as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist by the Lancaster DClinPsy Programme. All candidates should check that they meet the criteria before making a clinical psychology application. The programme does not accept self-funded applicants. Entry requirements: A degree in Psychology, or an equivalent qualification which confers eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) from the British Psychological Society (at time of application). Applicants must do well in a screening test before being invited to interview. IELTS: 7.0 (or a ToEFL Score of 93) or equivalent.
The University is located only three miles (five kilometres) outside the historic city of Lancaster, and the city is just half an hour south of the world famous national parks of the Lake District. Major cities such as Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh and London are easy to reach.
