Those wishing to join the initial qualifying stage normally require a degree in a related subject (social science); as well as experience of youth and community equivalent to 300 hours of face-to-face and supervised practice; entry to this route will be subject to interview to assess the applicant’s suitability; post qualifying stage: required to hold a diploma or degree in youth and community work (or equivalent) as well as experience in this field; those who pass 1 of these post-graduate Diplomas will be invited to progress to the Master's dissertation stage.
