Years 2 and 3: Nursing interventions in child and family healthcare; changing concepts of childhood; impact of acute illness and injury on child and family health; impact of chronic and life limiting conditions on child and family health; child and family healthcare in the community and hospital; personal and professional skills for life long learning; child and family healthcare elective; evidence based practice development; management and education in child health practice; nurse as professional practitioner (transition); in addition students undertaking the BN route study evaluation of child and family healthcare and 1 further option module.
