M1 Requirements: To be admitted, students must hold a Bachelor, a Degree in Physics 3 or equivalent qualification with an excellent level in quantum physics and statistical physics.
M2
Prerequisites: direct admission (on file) M2 is possible for students of a similar M1 (60 ECTS must be validated) or equivalent in Fundamental Physics or applied with a special knowledge in Physics of continuous media, statistics and physics in ion physics. The basics of plasma physics will have to be acquired.
The program is also open to French students completing their studies in a large engineering school (3rd year). The course is delivered in French and English.
The School is located in Palaiseau, a small town in the Southern Parisian suburbs. By RER (the rapid transit system), which connects Paris to its suburbs, it is only 30 minutes away from the centre of Paris, and going to the nearest International Airport, only takes about 25 minutes.
