Ecole Polytechnique, MSc, Environmental, Energy and Transportation Economics
Entry requirements
Two intake levels are possible. For students with a M1, an engineering degree, or normal schools students than or trade or some foreign diplomas, it is possible to apply for direct entry into M2. An admission board selects candidates. Students whose level economics or mathematics would not be considered sufficient to be able to follow the teachings of M2 with good chances of success may be offered admission in M1.
Students with a level L3 (or the equivalent of a tray 3) can apply to the entry into M1. Note however that the following of the M1 does not automatically ensure admission to M2, validation conditions are severe. It is therefore advisable to have a high level in mathematics (optimization, dynamical systems, differential and integral calculus, linear algebra) and statistics to have a good chance to validate the M1.The course is delivered in French, so Certificate of French level is needed.
