Arts and festivals management Year 1: Creative arts manager; management tools; perspectives in the arts. Year 2: Changing agendas in cultural politics and policy (European perspectives); changing agendas in cultural politics and policy (personal research); research (methods and applications); developing audiences; art, culture and people (changing the perspective; creative management (finance and law). Year 3: Dissertation; developing audiences; work placement; museum management; music industry management; art, culture and people (changing the perspective); media industry management; event management. Drama studies Year 1: 4 modules to provide a practical and theoretical introduction to drama involving technical skills of lighting, sound and computer-based scenic design; theatre history; theories of performance and acting technique; scripting and directing skills. Year 2: Practical skills are developed through the study of naturalistic and non-naturalistic dramatic practices from the early modern period through contemporary post-modern theatres. Year 3: There is independence in the choice of modules as well as the opportunity to focus on individual interests.
