Shanghai ranking of universities

Academic Ranking of World Universities, ARWU, better known as the Shanghai ranking, compiled by the Asian Agency ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. This ranking focuses on scientific and academic activities of universities, to reduce the impact of peculiarities of national education systems the final grade. The study involved over 1200 high schools and only 500 get into the list of the best universities in the world. Especially useful for those who are planning an academic career.
