University is ready to offer new-coming students 10 houses which are located next to university main campus. Average price per student year for accommodation and dining plan is about 15 000$. Moreover, each House offers some events programs.
It provides modern features in a classic building housing 150 first-year students in traditional double rooms. Students live on floors 2–6 of this six story building. The second floor includes an apartment for the Faculty Head of House, a seminar room, and a common kitchen for residents. Floors 3–6 each have a study area and three shared bathrooms with showers.
In addition, there is a study area, laundry room, and music rooms on the first floor. The building is fully air conditioned. Corridors and common areas are carpeted. Student rooms have tiled floors.
The Vanderbilt campus is located approximately 2.4 km southwest of downtown in the West End neighbourhood of midtown Nashville. It has an area of 1.3 km2, though this figure includes large tracts of sparsely used land in the southwest part of the main campus, as well as the Medical Centre. The historical core of campus encompasses approximately 0.3 km2.
