The refurbished Students’ Union features a modern bar, lounge, gym and café. Designed around students’ visions for their Union, the new Students’ Union delivers first-class facilities for a variety of recreational, social and academic activities, as well as being the definitive voice of students at UWL.

There are over 800 rooms in Paragon - en-suite (students share only kitchen). This award-winning building was opened in September 2006 and provides purpose built student accommodation. Paragon Notting Hill Student Lets is the trading name for Touareg Trust, who manage Paragon. The Trust is a subsidiary of Notting Hill Housing Trust and provides accommodation for students. Touareg Trust has adopted the Accreditation Network UK (ANUK) National Code of Standards for Larger Developments. The Code establishes a set of specific standards and recommendations with particular relevance to larger residential student developments and by signing up to the Code, Touareg has agreed to comply with the recommendations. Standards include recommendations on, for example, rent liability, repairs and maintenance, cleaning of communal areas, deposits and complaints resolution.

The Berkshire Institute for Health, situated in Reading, is in walking distance of the main railway and bus stations, adjacent to car parking and within easy reach of the town's 'park and ride' bus stops. People come from miles around to sample Reading's shopping and nightlife. With the University of Reading in the same town, there is plenty of entertainment aimed at students and lots to do. You can get to London Paddington by train in less than 30 minutes.
