Entry requirements

English language requirements vary for each of the UAL's courses, so check the requirements for your chosen course on the relevant course page. Overall IELTS results required for most Undergraduate courses is 5.5.


The University offers English courses and free English language support to non-native English speakers throughout their degree. If you need to improve your English to achieve the required IELTS score, the Language Centre runs a pre-sessional English programme for students with a conditional offer, and a range of other short courses.
