Normally, the University will require ABB for A-levels or equivalent. Applicants offering professional qualifications or other similar qualifications can be given consideration on an individual basis. Such applicants may be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process. For Russian and CIS students: University requires to achieve 4’s and 5’s in all subjects on the leaving examinations Attestat o Srednem Obshem Obrazovanii. The 4 year undergraduate degree in Scotland means that you do not have to take foundation programme before undergraduate study at Starthclyde.
For Russian and CIS students: To be considered for admission to a Master's e.g. MSc, MRes, MBA etc. applicants should have completed the Specialist Diploma/Bakalavr/Magistr with a significant number of 'Good' and 'Excellent' classifications or a final GPA of 4.0/5 or better.
IELTS 6.5 and TOEFL 90-95.
The International Study Centre (ISC) offers a range of pathway programmes that provide international students with the academic and English language skills to undertake a degree at the University of Strathclyde.
You may choose one of three pathways depending on your academic background, English language level and age:
■ Undergraduate Foundation Programme
■ International Year One BBA
■ Pre-Masters Programme
Standard application via UCAS. For degrees starting in September the standard application deadline is in January.
Application to Postgraduate Taught Programmes is online. There is no formal closing date for postgraduate applications but the University recommends applying by the end of March for September entry. If a student requires funding, it is recommended to apply even earlier – by January.
