Colchester Campus: Home to over 10,500 students from more than 130 countries, our Colchester Campus is the largest of our three sites, and helps to make us one of the most internationally diverse campus universities on the planet – we like to think of ourselves as the world in one place.
Southend Campus: If you’re joining our School of Health and Human Sciences, East 15 Acting School, Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies, or Essex Business School, you may well be studying at our Southend Campus. Modern and lively, with state-of-the-art facilities, and a close-knit, international community Southend is the perfect environment for living and learning. It’s a town centre campus, which means you’re in amongst the buzz of the High Street, whilst still being just a few minutes’ walk from Southend’s award-winning beaches.
Loughton Campus: Studying at East 15 Acting School in Loughton isn’t just your average student experience. You’ll be in intensive training at one of the most prestigious and original internationally respected conservatoires in the country – preparing you with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in the performing arts. Essex is a county in the east of England and is situated to the east of London. From pretty villages set in peaceful surroundings to busy market towns steeped in history, from tranquil walks along wide sandy beaches to town centres brimming with history and culture, there is plenty on offer in the beautiful county of Essex.
Essex has excellent links by rail and road into central London. Trains run between central London and both Colchester and Southend taking up to an hour. The University's East 15 Acting School is approximately 45 minutes from central London on the London Underground Tube.
