How to apply

Anyone interested in becoming a student at the University of Chicago must apply to the College for undergraduate study, to one of the Divisions or Professional Schools for graduate study, or to the Graham School for General Studies.


When applying to University of Chicago, it's important to note the application deadline is January 1, and the early action deadline is November 8. Scores for either the ACT or SAT test are due January 26. The application fee at University of Chicago is $75. It is most selective, with an acceptance rate of 8.8 percent.
