Life on UBC’s Vancouver Campus:
With popular beaches, international food, and a lively social scene, the campus is so easy to live on that some students say they hardly need to leave. UBC’s Vancouver campus is a vibrant community with almost 32,000 undergraduate students. It feels like its own little city but it’s within easy reach of beaches, downtown, and mountains. You can go from exploring a rainforest trail in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, to relaxing on Jericho Beach, to shopping on Robson Street — all in one day.
Life on UBC’s Okanagan campus:
UBC’s Okanagan campus is an active, young community nestled among orchards, mountains, and beautiful lakes. It’s an amazing place to live, learn, play, and grow. The Okanagan campus is a close-knit community with over 7,000 undergraduate students. That means you’ll see plenty of familiar faces in and around our new state-of-the-art facilities. And with all of the recreational and cultural opportunities nearby, there’s never a shortage of great things to do.
UBC’s two main campuses are situated in Vancouver and in Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. Also in Vancouver, UBC Robson Square is a vibrant learning centre in the heart of downtown, the UBC Learning Exchange is a community engagement initiative based in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and UBC’s Centre for Digital Media at the Great Northern Way Campus is located in Mount Pleasant. UBC also provides clinical education to Faculty of Medicine students at 75 health care facilities across British Columbia. In addition, UBC’s Asia Pacific Regional Office in Hong Kong and a satellite office in New Delhi support alumni engagement and facilitate teaching and learning partnerships.
