University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus)

As a modern University with an international focus, the University openly welcomes international students to the UCLan Cyprus Campus.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Applicants will be assessed on an individual basis, based on their country’s academic qualifications and standards. The language of instruction and assessment for all programmes at our University is English.

Examples of acceptable English language qualifications include:

• IELTS 5.0
• IGCSE English Grade C
• TOEFL 40 (IBT)
• Cambridge Proficiency Level C1
• Michigan Proficiency Pass

*For LLB & BA (Hons) English Language Studies a minimum of 5.5 IELTS or equivalent is required. English Language support is provided to help you enhance your English Language level.

POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS

Applicants should hold a Bachelor degree with a minimum grade as follows:

• Bachelor degree (Lower Second Class) or other equivalent
• IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

*Students whose first degree was taught entirely in English do not need to provide any official English language qualifications (entry requirements apply). English Language support is provided to help you enhance your English Language level. Students who do not meet the above minimum entry criteria are subject to an interview from the Head of School of the program of study they are applying for.

Should be sent together with the following documents:

• For Undergraduate Applicants: School Leaving Certificate and Mark Sheet, English Language Qualification & Passport copy
• For Postgraduate Applicants: Bachelor Degree & Transcripts, School Leaving Certificate, English Language Certificate, Passport Copy, CV.

Applications should be sent to UCLan Cyprus Admissions Office via support of Education Index consultants. We encourage students to apply as soon as possible to allow sufficient time to obtain their visas. Courses start in October and January.

Once the University has received all the above required documents, the UCLan Cyprus Admissions Department will proceed with an official evaluation and if the application is successful will issue a Conditional/ Unconditional Offer letter stating the terms & conditions of your admission and further details regarding Visa procedures.
