Entry requirements for individual courses can vary widely. Applications from international students for first year exemption, i.e. for admission to the second year of an undergraduate degree scheme, will be considered on an individual basis.
To be eligible for entrance to a postgraduate degree programme candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree, or its equivalent, from a recognised overseas University/College of Higher Education. However, these are a guide only and other factors have to be considered when assessing your eligibility. Entry requirements vary between courses.
Normally, candidates are expected to have a degree that is relevant to the Masters for which they are applying. There are however exceptions to this rule, such as the MBA, MA TEFL and the MA in Translation with Language Technology , where a degree in any subject will be considered.

International applicants are expected to demonstrate a good level of English. English Language requirements are normally judged in terms of formal IELTS (International English Language Testing System). This is because IELTS is widely available at thousands of testing centres worldwide.
