As an international student you will be guaranteed a single room in our award winning on-campus accommodation for your first year. Academic departments, colleges, library, banks and shops are all situated on campus making life less expensive, safer and easier than in many other places. The campus boasts great sports facilities with football and rugby pitches, a woodland running track, basketball courts and a brand new £20m Sports Centre with swimming pool, fitness and weights room.

Lancaster University has great links with business. Our career orientated courses are designed to ensure you obtain the necessary skills for successful employment. Work and research placements are offered as part of most of our programmes and include work with international companies, including Ernst & Young, Microsoft, Accenture, Nokia and SAP. Most of our students can participate in study or work placements in another country, adding an impressive level of experience to their CV.
