Students have access to one of the richest libraries in the world both in paper and online with its own publishing service promoting the work of students, professors and researchers.
The School’s campuses are equipped with computing suites, music and dance studios, a cinema, tennis courts and a gym. There also are restaurants, cafes and other entertainment for students on site.
The School offers free accommodation for international students depending on social situation, type of admission and level of studies. The accommodation facilities are within the main School and the other campuses in the South of Paris and its nearby suburbs.
Parisian public bodies provide cheap accommodation to International students: the CROUS offers rooms from 250 Euros a month across Paris and suburbs (but applications have to be submitted a year in advance). The Cité international Universitaire de Paris rents rooms from 400 Euros a month on an attractive campus in the South of Paris with cultural and sports facilities.
Private accommodation in Paris ranges from 500 Euros a month for flat shares to 800euros for student residences. Prices of private flats start from 800 Euros. Accommodation prices drop when renting in Parisian suburbs.
The School has developed partnership with private corporations, associations and research laboratories to recruit interns. Offers are circulated in the school with the service “Cellule Stages”.
Paris being one of the most important cities in the world for Business, there are plenty of part time opportunities in most fields.
The ENS is situated in the heart of Paris in the vibrant Quartier Latin surrounded by other top universities, including the Sorbonne. The River Seine as well as parks and cultural locations are at a short walk’s distance. The School is well served by the Metro (inner city underground) and RER (the rapid transit system), which connects Paris to its Southern suburbs, where two of its campuses are located.
