Student life

Case Western is situated in an area of Cleveland known as university circle. There are tons of things to do. You can keep it simple and just hang out, or you can join a club and they'll show you an awesome time. Within University Circle there are plenty of museums to go to, as well as the botanical gardens and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Downtown is just a short ride away on public transportation and there is an endless list of things to do there. On campus, there are clubs for anything you could be interested in. Therefore, there should be no reason not do find something fun to do at Case.


Accommodation

Residence halls are divided into two areas: one featuring suite-style rooms for second-year students in the South Residential Village, the other featuring double, single and suite style rooms for first-year students and upperclassmen in the North Residential Village. Both have gigabit ethernet network access and the wired network is one of the fastest that exists. Fast wireless campus network is also available in all buildings on campus. 


Usually, first-year students are grouped into one of four residential colleges that are overseen by first-year coordinators. 


About 99% of first-year students and 82% of all undergraduates live in college housing.


Career services

90% of students are employed, freelancing, or continuing their education six months after graduation in 2016. The majority of students are employed in Engineering (30% of total number of graduates), and Nursing (15%).
