Beijing Normal University has three campuses:
Campuses provide students with libraries, sports and recreation facilities, living facilities including supermarkets and many others.
There are dozens of students’ organizations in the fields of arts and culture, science, sports teams, media and others.
Moreover, there are many fun activities in the Chinese capital. Students can experience nightlife in Sanlitun Village and Houhai, try hiking on the Great Wall, Biking in the hutongs, shopping in Beijing's best shopping streets, skiing at top ski resorts in Beijing, learn Chinese cooking and calligraphy in the Hutongs and try many other things being there.
Autumn is the best time to Beijing. Apart from the comfortable weather, the fall colors in and around the city are exceptionally charming.

There are a total of 6 international student dorms in BNU. The daily cost per bed varies; there are beds for RMB 40 yuan, RMB 60 yuan, RMB 65 yuan, RMB 75 yuan, RMB 85 yuan, and RMB 95 yuan per day. Students may choose to live in double rooms or single rooms. After receiving the Admission Notice, students may choose their desired accommodations on the Internet at the website.
To get a room in a dormitory, students should book it in advance. Move in before semester begins is not allowed, but move in before registration is allowed for incoming students. Accommodations offer hot water at least eighteen hours a day, and pay washers and dryers are available in each international student apartment building. Equipped public kitchens or canteens are available in some buildings. Computer labs, gymnasiums and cafeterias are also available in some buildings.
Besides, students can rent apartments off-campus, if they prefer. If students choose to live with their relatives in China or to rent a residence off campus, they must inform the Office of International Scholars' and Students’ Affairs beforehand, and they must register at the local police station within 24 hours after moving in.
Career and Professional Development welcomes and assists students of all majors at BNU, first-year students through graduate level. Its staff helps students explore career options and majors, seek career-related experience in many forms including internships and co-ops, seek post-graduation employment, and plan for graduate or professional school.
Besides, International Students Office provides foreign students with paid on-campus internship positions: 2000 RMB/month for teaching assistant; 1200 RMB/month for Bachelor students, 1600 RMB/month for Master students and 2000 RMB/month for PhD students for the position of administrative assistant.
