Year 2: Compulsory: construction and horticultural technology for design; contract documentation and management; garden design projects; planning and designing a garden; plus either: research methods; or research methods for design; plus options: amenity landscape management; business management; business performance; computer-aided design A; computer-aided design B; career development; digital design communications; interior landscaping; landscape and garden ecology; landscapes, gardens and the arts; learning from work experience; marketing and personnel; specialist landscape construction; traditional and contemporary planting; vocational design study; vocational focus study; world gardens. Year 3: Compulsory: conservation and restoration of historic gardens; designing within a historical context; landscape planning and law; restoration and management of historic gardens; plus either: dissertation; or dissertation comprehensive design project; plus options: architectural heritage; business development; computer-aided design C; computer applications; conservation and ecological management; environmental impact and landscape assessment; leisure and recreation management; strategic management; urban environment; world gardens.
