A programme aimed mainly at professionals such as teachers, medical educators and tutors in both higher education and further education, designed to enhance and deepen pedagogic knowledge of: curricular frameworks, students’ learning and aspects of their professional role in their workplace; and throughout the programme there is emphasis on the development of practitioners as reflective professionals; students are encouraged to carry out work-focused tasks that are designed to develop their professional skills in practice; the evidence gathered from these activities provides the basis for focused critical analysis and enables practitioners to consider the implications for future action in their setting.
