Entry requirements

  • Applicants from outside the UK must still meet the University’s entrance requirements, and all courses at Sussex assume a basic level of education. We realise, however, that the entrance requirements listed in the subject areas of this prospectus relate educational levels to performance in UK A or AS levels and GCSEs (as well as the International Baccalaureate). As many non-UK qualifications are also acceptable, this section aims to provide you with some advice on their comparability.
  • English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall, with not less than 6.0 in each section. Pearson's Test of English (Academic) with 62 overall with at least 56 in all four skills.

How to apply?

For entry to full-time undergraduate courses, you must apply to the University of Sussex through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You do this using the online UCAS Apply service.
