This course produces graduates with the research and technical skills required to address the challenges confronting risk analysis in today’s industry, where problems are multi-disciplinary and highly context-dependent; risk and reliability analysis is routinely conducted for systems: those used in power generation; oil and gas; air; rail; road and sea transportation; automotive engineering and telecommunication; and involves both the engineering infrastructure and the associated business and service provision.
