Classes (2-week blocks) with laboratory and coursework interspersed with periods of independent learning and reading; students learn about a wide range of applications and discuss issues related to project management and contractual issues: Advanced electromagnetics; HPRF physical processes; HPRF passive components; HPRF active components; power supplies and high-power RF issues; high-power RF systems; an independent research project is required for the Master's and is optional for the diploma (either in conjunction with research programmes at the university or in an industry setting.)
